MultiCyclone from Waterco is a new pre-filtration device that can help you save up to 7,000 litres of water a year in an average pool and reduce filter maintenance. An average sand filter may require approximately 4,000 to 8,000 litres of water a year to maintain it. Over recent years Tylo design team has been developing creative ideas that have bought it’s traditional products into the home, capturing the rise in the recognition of ‘wellbeing’, with it’s first venture being the ‘Felicity‘ range of steam-showers, which is still available.

Catering for those wishing to create their own bespoke steam room or having limited space for a modular unit, a new ‘50G’ steam room door has been produced with a steam generator, shower fittings and touch pad controls all incorporated within the door column. Creating the ‘fourth wall’ this only requires the customer to have the remaining walls built to suit their design requirements, which also opens up the possibility of providing steam within a ‘wet room’ environment.

Available with either single or twin benches, the aptly named ‘Mono’ and ‘Duo’ steam cubicles incorporate a steam generator, overhead shower rose and a separate hand shower all contained within a single column. The floor space required for the unit is little more than that of an average shower cubicle.

The ‘Home Spa’ incorporates separate Sauna, Steam and Shower functions in one single cubicle, with an inner wall and door creating a division between the sauna and steam/shower areas. Suncap Bubble Technology
A key feature of Suncap is the bubble shape and size. The reduced height but greater diameter of the larger than standard bubbles make Suncap material more effective as an insulator. The greater air space in the bubble lets less heat put of the pool which means that the water stays warmer longer.

The use of pale, translucent colours allows maximum penetration of short wavelength solar energy from the sun. This energy then radiates within the pool at longer wavelengths and the larger surface area of the Suncap bubbles trap these waves within the pool water, potentially increasing a pools temperature by up to 8 deg C.

The even distribution of material accross the Suncap bubble increases it’s strength and extends the covers life.
