Sven-Olof Janson’s business career began in 1949, when he established his own company manufacturing resistor elements for electrical applications in irons, toasters, hotplates etc.Business expanded rapidly to include immersion heaters, different types of heating elements for industrial applications, infra-red emitters and other similar products.Then, a few years later Sven-Olof received a personal enquiry from the Finnish consul in Halmstad about the possibility of building an electrically operated sauna heater. This marked the first beginnings of a company which is now regarded as the world leader in its field.
